A Clymer woman has been charged with disorderly conduct for causing a disturbance at the borough police station last weekend.
Clymer Police say 48-year-old Amy Ingargiola showed up Saturday night and walked past Officer Hunter Scherf into the detention area, where she was not allowed to be and where two in-custody individuals were seated. Scherf reports that he repeatedly told her she was not permitted in that area and ordered her to leave, but she became argumentative and began talking to one of the individuals. She refused to leave and continued to argue with Scherf, using profanity.
After several warnings, Ingargiola was detained and charged with a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. She’s scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 10th.
