State police report two traffic incidents in which the drivers are facing charges. The first, on November 28th, occurred when a state trooper pulled over 36-year-old Joshua Gelfand of Indiana at Rustic Lodge Road in White Township. Police say Gelfand was determined to be driving under the influence and had a small amount of marijuana with him.
The second incident happened December 15th at Route 422 and Anthony Run Road in Armstrong Township. Police say 30-year-old Ronald Szymczak of Vandergrift was found sleeping at the wheel of his vehicle, which was partially on the road. He was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
