Indiana borough police have charged an Indiana woman with simple assault, harassment, and abusing the 911 emergency service.
Police say that on December 26th at 2:42 PM, they were called out to a home in the 1400 block of Church Street for a 911 hang-up call. When they got there, they found Kandi Swanson was the caller, but she had no legitimate reason for calling. While officers conducted an investigation, Swanson attacked them by slapping and punching them.
She was taken into custody and charges were later filed with District Judge Guy Haberl.
