The Pittsburgh Penguins showed their Western Conference dominance with a 5-2 victory against the Nashville Predators.
The scoring started with Dominik Simon with a goal at the 2:17 mark of the 1st. Nashville tied it up with a goal from Craig Smith, his sixth of the year, at the 4:30 mark of the first.
The Pens would take the lead again with a goal from Alex Galchenyuk at the 14:16 mark. The lead would be kept for good as Bluger scored to end the first period at the 14:50 mark.
In the second, Brian Rust and Jusso Riikola both scored for the Pens to make it 5-1, and Viktor Arvidsson of Nashville scored in the third to make it 5-2.
