With Maurkice Pouncey already ruled out of Sunday’s must-win game against the Ravens with a knee injury, the Steelers practiced yesterday without running back James Conner and cornerback Joe Haden. Conner is suffering from a quad injury, while Haden is nursing a foot injury that he says will not prevent him from playing on Sunday. The other starting corner, Steven Nelson, returned to practice after missing Wednesday with a groin injury.
Receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster told reporters in the locker room yesterday that’s he is “feeling much better” this week. He returned to the lineup last Sunday after missing four games with a knee injury.
Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt was voted by his teammates as their MVP yesterday.
