We did not have a white Christmas this year, as warmer than normal temperatures have been felt across the area. But the National Weather Service is saying that more winter-like temperatures will return by New Year’s Eve.
The National Weather Service has recorded temperatures in Indiana County in the 50’s for high temperatures for the week. Meteorologist Lee Hendricks says that is because a strong push of warm air is coming from the south.
The warmth is expected to continue into Monday, but Hendricks said things will return to more winter-like conditions on Monday.
