With Sunday’s game against the Jets getting closer, Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster put in a full practice yesterday, and tight tend Vance McDonald also practiced. Smith-Schuster has missed the last four games with a knee injury and McDonald missed last week’s game against Buffalo as he went through the concussion protocol.
Cornerback Joe Haden missed practice with a foot injury, but looks good to play on Sunday. Artie Burns returned to practice after missing Wednesday due to illness. Tight end Nick Vannett took a sick day yesterday.
The game Sunday kicks off at 1:05. Pregame is at noon on AM 1450 WDAD and 100.3 FM.
Former Steelers coaches Bill Cowher and Buddy Parker and safety Donnie Shell are among the finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame special Centennial Class of 2020. Former Pitt great Jimbo Covert is also on the list of 38 nominees. Fifteen will be selected and announced next month. There will be 10 senior players, two coaches and three contributors chosen.
