State police have charged an Indiana woman with stealing from the White Township Walmart on Saturday. Troopers say 53-year-old Betty Capitosti of Indiana stole $107.32 worth of items from the store and fled the scene. Troopers found her at her home later on. A non-traffic citation was filed with District Judge Susanne Steffee’s office.
State police charged a Bolivar man with drug-related crimes. Troopers say they conducted a traffic stop on December 11th at 11:03 AM at the intersection of Colony Boulevard and Penn Drive. During the traffic stop, troopers seized several items of drug paraphernalia.
No one was hurt in a crash on Route 56 in East Wheatfield Township. State Police say that 21-year-old Alexa-Michael Williams of Philadelphia was driving South on Route 56 when 50-year-old William Edmiston pulled out to make a left turn onto Northbound 56 from William Fry Road. The two collided. Edmiston was able to drive his vehicle from the scene, but Williams’ vehicle had to be towed.
