Sandra Jean (Wright) Kadlubowski, 84 of Indiana, peacefully died at home with family on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
A daughter of Wilbur and Alma Wright, she was born in 1935 in Chicago.
Sandra was a compassionate wife, mother and artist. Beginning in the late ’70s, she embraced painting, sculpture and ceramics, and her passion touched family, friends and students alike for the next four decades.
She is survived by one sister – Pat Manos and Pat’s husband, Jim; daughters – Kathy Schwietz of Indiana and Jeannie Werner of Pittsburgh; son – Col. (retired) Michael John Kadlubowski and his wife, Julie, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren – Joel Schwietz; April Mason and her husband, Jesse; Bailey Floyd and her husband, Kevin; Chase Werner; Isabella Werner; Bradley Kadlubowski and his wife, Molly; and John Kadlubowski and his wife, Sydney; and great-grandchild, newly-born to John and Sydney, Landon Michael Kadlubowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, John “Jack” Kadlubowski; and by her brother, Robert Wright.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas More University Parish. Private inurnment will be made at St Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
