The Pitt and Penn State football teams will go bowling later this month.
The Panthers will take on Eastern Michigan December 26 in the Quick Lane Bowl, while the Nittany Lions play Memphis in the Cotton Bowl December 28th.
Coach Curt Cignetti’s James Madison romped over Monmouth, 66-21, and will play Northern Iowa Friday night.
Slippery Rock advanced to the Division II semifinal game after outlasting Notre Dame of Ohio, 65-59. The Rock will play host to Minnesota State for the championship Saturday afternoon .
