Thanks to the media exposure, a suspect has been identified in connection with a theft at the Indiana Walmart.
State police on November 20th released pictures from the theft of a crossbow and crossbow case, and they now say that the man who allegedly stole the items was 37-year-old Robert L. Stripling of Sagamore. Stripling is accused of stealing $386 worth of items in that incident. Stripling faces one count of misdemeanor retail theft.
Stripling also faces charges for stealing from the same store earlier in the month. Police say that he stole almost $845 worth of items from the Walmart by under-ringing items at the self-checkout register on November 9th.
A preliminary hearing for Stripling is set for January 21st, 2020
