Criminal call hearings are set for today in Indiana County Court, including one for a man charged with two counts of criminal homicide.
Nathanial Ray Price is charged with two counts of homicide along with single counts of robbery-inflicting serious injury and conspiracy to the same crime connected with the deaths of 26-year-old Timothy Gardner and 20-year-old Jacqueline Brink back in October of 2016. Price, along with Justin Stevenson and Isaiah Scott went to Gardner and Brink’s apartment outside of Clymer in Cherryhill Township on the pretense of buying marijuana. Price and Stevenson jumped Gardner and beat him to death with a metal pipe. Brink was also killed in the incident as she would have been an eyewitness.
Also due for criminal call hearings today is James Winkleman, who has two cases up for a hearing today. In one case, he faces a theft charge for an incident that goes back to February 26 of this year. The other case involves two drug-related crimes back May of this year.
Criminal Call is designed to update the court and the parties involved on the progress of a case. Proceedings are usually postponed to a later date, but on occasion, guilty pleas have been entered at the Criminal Call phase.
