State police are investigating two thefts where surveillance cameras caught pictures of the suspect.
Troopers say the first incident was at the White Township Walmart on November 3rd. The suspect arrived at the store around 5:15 PM and stole a pack of undershirts, a parka, a thermal shirt, socks, a bath towel, a blanket, jeans, a bed pillow and a lava lamp totaling around $173. He was able to leave the store. The suspect was wearing a dark sweatshirt and dark pants and was seen loading the items into and getting away in a black Mercedes sedan.

The other case was a drive off from a gas pump at Venard’s Crossroads Convienence in Lucernemines on November 17th. Police say that an unidentified male pumped $35.00 worth of gas and drove off without paying. The surveillance camera showed the car involved was a newer model red Volkswagen Beetle with Florida license plate HWLR08. The vehicle has several stickers on the trunk lid and what appears to be a heart-shaped sticker on the upper center area of the rear windshield.
