Carrie (Miller) Harshyne, 87, Indiana died December 3, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary (Walker) Miller and was born March 26, 1932 in Kittanning, PA.
She was a member of The Summit Church, Indiana Senior Citizens Card Club, and a member of the VFW Ladies Golf League for over 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; two sons, Larry and wife Karen Harshyne, Sellersville, PA and Dennis and wife Sandy Harshyne, Shelocta; four grandchildren, Larry and wife Mandy, Wendy and husband Joe Pallozzi, Benjamin and wife Kate and Zachary; and six great grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua, Olivia, Ella, William and Jack. She is also survived by brothers, Ralph Miller and Donald Miller and wife Nancy, both of Ford City; sisters, Marie Louise Huston, Ford City; Grace Miller and Doris Miller both of Glen Burnie, MD and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Donald and Dwayne; sisters, Helen Hedinger, Jean Bowser and brother, Clair.
Friends will be received Friday, December 6, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home Chapel.
