Indiana County emergency responders responded to several calls during yesterday’s severe windstorms.
Indiana County 911 reported that the first call for utility lines or trees down on Wednesday happened at 2:12 PM along Dug Hill Road in Canoe Township, as the Rossiter Fire Department was called out for utility lines down.
It would not be until 5:44 PM when another wind-related call would go out. Rossiter Fire Department was dispatched again for a tree down on Locust Lane.
Few details are available on some other emergency calls reported yesterday in Indiana County. At 5:14 PM, Pine Township and Cherry Tree fire crews were called out for a reported vehicle accident on Route 553.
At 8:58 PM, Blacklick and Blairsville firefighters were called out for an incident on Strangford Road in Burrell Township. No word yet on what the incident was.
And at 3:32 this morning, Cherry Tree Fire Department was called out for an incident on Patchin Highway.
