Several preliminary hearings are set for today in Indiana County’s district courts. While many of them are for drug and DUI-related crimes, there are two cases on the schedule today that are for other crimes.
One of the cases set for today is the hearing for Isatu Hope Weaver of Pittsburgh. She faces misdemeanor charges of stalking, resisting arrest, loitering and prowling at night, disorderly conduct, and defiant trespass along with a summary charge of harassment after repeated visits to an apartment in the 900 block of Wayne Avenue.
Police said that Weaver refused to leave when officers were first called out, claiming she was in love with the occupant. She later complied with an order to leave, but she came back twice on separate days, and on October 15th, she was taken into custody, and police said she resisted arrest at that time. She has been free on $1000 bail.
The other case was that of Ryan Irwin of Blacklick, who is charged with theft, access device fraud, and theft by taking lost property for an incident on September 20th.
