The Oldies Attic Turkeython is once again a massive success.
Going off the air, the total raised was $50,885, with more donations expected to come in. That money will go to the United Way, and that money was matched by local grocers with turkeys and food cards that will go to groups like The Salvation Army, homeless veterans groups, Homer City Food Bank, The Community Kitchen in Dixonville, The Chevy Chase Community Center, and others to make sure that those who need assistance during the holidays get a warm meal.
Bill Otto, host of the Oldies Attic, was assisted by several United Way Volunteers and members of Indiana’s Quota club.
