Last night was the start of the holiday season in Indiana as the Lucy Donnelly Memorial Parade and kickoff festival was held at IRMC Park.
The parade had over 70 units and many different organizations once again came together for the festival in downtown Indiana, and people jammed IRMC Park before the parade for the tree lighting ceremony. This leads into the first day of the First Commonwealth Bank It’s A Wonderful Life festival in Downtown Indiana. Today will feature musical entertainment at IRMC Park from Julie Dunmire, the band On Our Way Home, Anthony Frazier, Andrea Schneider, James Eric Suman, Alan Craigie, the community children’s choir and the band Somebody To Love.
Vendors in the Christmas Village will include the Jimmy Stewart Museum, Leaps Farm and others.
