PennDOT has announced plans for a public meeting to put the plans for a bridge on West Pike Road project in White Township on display.
PennDOT says that the project will replace the bridge that carries business route 422 over an un-named tributary to McCarthy Run, and will take place just south of the intersection of 422 and Ben Franklin Road and north of Wolf Run Drive.
Construction on the project is expected to start in the summer of 2022 and will have a short-duration detour. The project’s expected cost is around $1 million.
PennDOT officials and design consultants will be on hand to answer questions from the public. The plans will be on display from 5:30 to 6:30 at PennDOT’s offices on Oakland Avenue in Indiana on December 5th.
