Zomenia E. Peightal, 94, of Indiana, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 at St. Andrew’s Village.
A daughter of the late Francis Roy and Nettie Bell Bush Peightal, she was born March 8, 1925, in Indiana.
Miss Peightal was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles and word search puzzles.
She is survived by her son James “Rusty” Yeager and his wife Shirley, of Indiana; a grandson, Andy Yeager; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings: James Peightal, Aloyius Peightal, Francis Peightal, Virgil Peightal, Floy May Peightal Renz, Mary E. Peightal and Jean O. Peightal. Zomenia was the last surviving member of her family.
Friends and family were received Monday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. A Mass of Christian burial was held this morning at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity in memory of Zomenia.
