The students got the chance to design a mural that would go on a plow blade, and all the participating schools were to use the theme “Don’t Rush in Ice and Slush”. The honorable mention for the Fan Favorite went to Leechburg High School.
The winner of the Judge’s pick was Butler AVTS High School, with St. Luke Lutheran School in Butler County picking up the honorable mention.
During the winter driving season, these pieces of art will actually be used to maintain state-owned roads throughout the District 10 region.
