Indiana County first responders were busy yesterday as they responded to several vehicle accidents across the county.
At 12:28 in the afternoon, Brush Valley and Armagh/East Wheatfield fire departments were called out for a vehicle accident on Oneida Mine Road in Brush Valley Township. State police and Citizen’s Ambulance were also called out for the incident.
Two vehicle accidents were reported within an hour of each other in Pine Township. Pine Township fire department, State Police and Citizens Ambulance were first called out to Route 422 East for a crash at 6:05 PM and then one at 7:06 PM.
And a crash was reported on 286 East in Montgomery Township in the northern part of the county. Glen Campbell fire department, Citizen’s Ambulance and State Police were called out at 12:48 this morning.
Emergency crews had to deal with other calls as well, which included a fuel spill on Route 22 West in Burrell Township, which had Blairsville and Blacklick fire departments called out at 4:53. And at 5:18 PM, a Gas leak was reported on Dunmire Road in Canoe Township that called out Marion Center and Rossiter firefighters.
