Indiana County is once again on the higher end of the gas price spectrum across Pennsylvania.
According to Triple-A East Central, the average cost of a gallon gas in Indiana County is $2.84 a gallon. It is the highest gas price average among the neighboring counties, with Jefferson County reporting with the lowest gas price average at $2.74 a gallon. Westmoreland and Clearfield Counties have average gas prices of $2.80 a gallon, while Armstrong and Cambria Counties have average gas prices of $2.81 a gallon.
The statewide average is $2.72 a gallon, which is three cents lower than where it was last week at this time. The highest gas price average reported in Pennsylvania was in Warren County at $2.93 a gallon, while the lowest was in Jefferson County by just a few tenths of a cent.
