Earlier today, the annual Veterans Day parade was held in Downtown Indiana.
The parade included performances from the IUP and Indiana High School Marching Bands and marching units from several Veterans organizations and scout troops. We asked parade goers why they felt it was important to come out and view the parade today. Ellie Keys, who just moved to Indiana from Philadelphia, said that it was very important to honor veterans.
Dave Lee of Indiana said it was as important as attending church.
Many people were out today to pay tribute to the veterans who served our country faithfully in the armed forces of the United States, and we add our thanks to all the veterans for their service.
