The State System of Higher Education today will open a two-day summit titled “Intersectionality for Student Success”.
The summit will focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion on the fourteen State System campuses. The presenters will include academic and student affairs professionals representing women, multicultural affairs, LGBTQ services, veterans, and the disabled.
Among the IUP representatives will be Reverend Tedd Cogar and Dr. Gwen Torges speaking on the topic of “Academic Freedom, Free Speech, and Difficult Issues at IUP”.
Other IUP presenters at the summit will be Dr. Chartrice Wyatt and Dr. Veta Talton.
The State System Summit is being held at California University of PA.
