Alice M. Prato, age 86 of Indiana, died Monday, November 4, 2019 at her home.
She was born in 1933 in Indiana County to Charles and Anna Cuzma Harvey.
Mrs. Prato was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary, Lucernemines.
She was employed by the R&P Coal Co for many years. She loved polka music and loved to cook and bake for her family.
She is survived by three sons and one daughter, John Prato and wife Diane, Clarksburg; Anthony Prato and wife Florence, Indiana; Gary Prato and wife Jill, Indiana; Lisa Gardner and husband Terry, Lucernemines; 11 grandchildren, Brian Prato, New Freedom; Thomas Prato and wife Kara, Clearbrook, VA; Jacob Prato, New Alexandria; Catherine Tyger and husband James, Coopersburg; Jared Prato, Clarksburg; Adam Prato, New Albany, OH; Mallory Mazon and husband Garrett, Indiana; Josh Gelles and wife Autumn, Clymer; Arianne Prato and fiancé Dwayne Bash, Martinsburg WV; Holly Prato, Indiana; Ashley Gardner, Lucernemines; eight great grandchildren, Rowan, Evelyn, Gabriel, Tenley and Harper Prato; Ryan Bash and Bane and Lincoln Tyger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Bernard F. Prato in 2010 and by seven siblings.
Friends will be received on Friday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 A.M. the Rev. Fr. the celebrant. Interment will be made in the St. Louis Cemetery, Lucernemines.
