Evelyn (Graham) “Mama Brown” Brown, age 71 of Marion Center, died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at her home.
She was born in 1948 in Kittanning to Wilbur and Mary Stewart Graham.
Evelyn was a lifetime member of the Marion Center Volunteer Fire Department and the First United Methodist Church in Marion Center.
She was employed by Robert Shaw Controls, Musser Nurseries, Malcolm’s House of Flowers and Indiana Floral.
She was compassionate about her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She spent numerous hours volunteering at the fire hall particularly the parades, dinners and providing drinks and food for firefighters on the sceneal.
She is survived by two daughters and one son, Linda Ward and husband Scott, Virginia Beach, VA; Michelle Zolocsik and husband John, Dayton; Michael Brown and wife Jodi, Marion Center; six grandchildren, Lindsay, Nathan, Kara, Bradley, Maleigha, Matthew; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Curren and several granddogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd Brown in 2008, one sister Cindy Hart and one brother Wilbur Wayne Graham.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, Marion Center, with the Rev. Carl White officiating. Private interment will be made in the Marion Center Memorial Cemetery.
