Two people were sent to the hospital with reported minor injuries after a crash on Route 119 near Homer City on Tuesday.
Indiana County 911 reported that the crash happened at 12:18 p.m. Terry Gardner of the Homer City Fire Department said that the crash was a T-bone-style collision at the intersection of Route 119 and Route 56/Ridge Avenue. A car coming east on Ridge Avenue pulled out into the intersection and collided with another vehicle that was going south on Route 119. The collision caused the car on 119 to spin out.
The two who were sent to Indiana Regional Medical Center had suspected minor injuries. Their identities have not been released. Homer City fire department was assisted by Homer City Police and Citizen’s Ambulance.
