There is an extensive court schedule today at the Indiana County Courthouse, with a number of defendants to be sentenced, multiple defendants to plead and be sentenced, and motions hearings in three cases for one defendant.
That defendant is 44-year-old Brian James Barr of Commodore, who is charged in two theft cases and a third case in which he is charged with criminal trespass and flight to avoid apprehension. He’s due for trial next month.
Drug defendants to be sentenced today include:
- Charles Edward Miller of Smicksburg, who pleaded guilty to two possession charges in a methamphetamine case.
- John Oddo of Sewickley, Allegheny County, who admitted guilt to possession with intent to deliver.
- Clifford Mardis of Blairsville, for possession with intent to deliver.
- Scott Ryan Wilson of Shelocta, for possession with intent to deliver in one case and to simple assault and harassment in another.
Others to be sentenced today include Darna Tansmore and Jessica Hernandez, both of Indiana, who each pleaded guilty to a single charge of endangering the welfare of children.
DUI defendants on the sentencing docket today are Meagan Martin of North Apollo, William West of Blairsville, Tara Kemerer of Latrobe, and Brandon Bacik of Rehrersburg, Berks County.
