In Westmoreland County Court yesterday, 47-year-old Bradley Sarver of Bolivar was sentenced to ten to twenty years in prison for sexually assaulting a then-12-year-old girl on Christmas Day 2013.
A jury in June found Sarver guilty of aggravated assault of a child, indecent assault, corruption of minors, and endangering the welfare of a child. He denied the assault at trial and again told Judge Christopher Feliciani yesterday that he did not intentionally touch the girl.
Four family members testified on Sarver’s behalf yesterday, asking the judge to be lenient, but Feliciani held to the mandatory minimum sentence.
