The White Township Planning Commission had a busy night with three site plans given final approval.
One of those site plans was for the KCAC, where they are proposing to pave over an existing gravel parking area on the Wayne Avenue lot. Assistant Township Manager Chris Anderson said that there are other plans as well for access from the parking lot.
Approval for the KCAC Final site plan was conditional on the review of the stormwater review by the township engineer.
Anderson also said that a final site plan for East Pike Elementary School was given final approval, and Anderson said that this project is designed to help with school security.
The third final site plan that was approved was a 20 by 38 foot addition to the Indiana County Humane Society on airport road. That expansion is expected to be used as a crematorium.
