State police say a Black Lick man is accused of stealing a crossbow and a crossbow kit from the Burrell Township Walmart store.
It happened September 29th, just six days before the state’s archery season started. Police say 31-year-old Eric Blattenberger took the two items, a Center Point Patriot 415 crossbow valued at $347, and a Killer Instinct BC 370 Crossbow Kit valued at $248.
Police do not say whether charges have been filed yet.
WEST MAHONING TOWNSHIP
Police are investigating an attack on some farm animals in West Mahoning Township. Sometime between noon and two o’clock on Sunday afternoon, someone entered an Amish farmer’s barn at 1872 McCormick Road and physically abused three pigs and two goats, leaving them all with suspected broken ribs. State troopers in Punxsutawney are investigating.
