One of the drivers was injured in a two-vehicle crash yesterday morning on Oakland Avenue in White Township.
State police say 24-year-old Wesley Carter of Larimer, Westmoreland County, pulled out from the Papa John’s Pizza parking lot into the path of a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Geena Hammer of McKees Rocks, Allegheny County. Hammer was taken to the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
State troopers arrested the drivers for suspicion of driving under the influence in two separate accidents early on Saturday.
27-year-old William McCurdy of Latrobe was taken to the Indiana County Jail after a crash on Climax Road in West Wheatfield Township at 1:00 AM.
34-year-old Alex Spangler of Shelocta was arrested for DUI after a crash about an hour later on Route 85 at Route 210 in South Mahoning Township.
