An Ebensburg woman had a possible injury in a crash on Saturday in Pine Township. State police say that the crash happened at 11:13 AM on Route 403 North near Pineton Road. 19-year-old Amber Martin was going north on 403 when she lost control of her vehicle, hit an embankment and the vehicle rolled onto its side. Pine township firefighters and Citizens ambulance assisted at the scene. She was cited by police for careless driving.
No injuries were reported in a crash in White Township on Monday morning on Route 119. State police say the crash happened just south of Lutz School Road. The driver, 24-year-old Sean Lynn was going North on 119 when he ran into a deer that was crossing the road. The car took on disabling damage to the driver’s side bumper, headlight and grill. Lynn refused medical treatment at the scene. Police charged Lynn with speeding.
INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
A Morton man was arrested and charged with DUI and other crimes for an incident in Indiana Borough on October 3rd. Indiana Borough Police say that at 6:43 PM, Indiana Borough Police were on patrol in the 700 block of Carter Avenue when an officer saw someone driving erratically. A traffic stop was conducted and they found 33-year-old Travis Smith behind the wheel, and he was intoxicated. Along with the DUI charge, he faces charges of careless driving, driving on expired registration, illegal window tint, and lack of registration on display. He was arraigned before District Judge Guy Haberl.
