Pitt led 26-3 late in the third quarter, but had to rally to beat Duke, 33-30. The Panthers committed three straight turnovers that the Blue Devils converted into touchdowns, and then Duke scored again to take a 30-26 lead, but Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett hit V’Lique Carter with a 26-yard touchdown pass with 38 seconds left for the win.
Penn State easily handled Purdue, 35-7, holding the Boilermakers to 104 yards of total offense, including minus-19 on the ground.
