Yesterday, we told you that the ramp work on the second phase of the Route 22 Armagh Bypass Project would begin on Monday. PennDOT now says that recent bad weather will postpone the start of work until Tuesday.
The ramps from Route 22 west to Route 56 and from 22 East to Route 403 (Cramer Pike) will be closed to traffic while they are milled, patched, and repaved. Phase One of the project, involving the ramps in the opposite lanes, ends today as those ramps reopen.
While Phase Two is now scheduled to begin Tuesday instead of Monday, ther amps are still scheduled to reopen next Thursday.
The entire project is slated for completion in mid-November.
