Two weeks after the attacks on major oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, gas prices in Pennsylvania have started to go down.
While the national average is seeing a bit of an increase from last week to this week, Pennsylvania’s gas prices continue to fall. According to Triple-A East Central, the national average as of today is $2.66 a gallon, which is a penny higher than a week ago. Pennsylvania’s average gas price is now $2.76 a gallon, that’s down three cents from last week.
Indiana County’s average gas price is $2.88 a gallon. Among neighboring counties, that’s the highest gas price average. The lowest is in Jefferson County, as they checked in at $2.80 a gallon. Clearfield County had $2.82 a gallon. Cambria, Westmoreland and Armstrong all have averages of $2.85 a gallon.
The area with the highest gas price average is the Erie area with $2.93 a gallon, while the Altoona region has the lowest gas price average at $2.61 a gallon.
