There are now three active arson cases against the two men accused of deliberately setting fires in northern Indiana County, and the brother of one of the suspects has been arrested for allegedly threatening the life of a Punxsutawney man.
In addition to the previously announced charges in the January 25th burning of an Amish furniture store in North Mahoning Township, 22-year-old Nicholas Leone of Creekside and 19-year-old Dylan Dalessio of Plumville are now facing charges in two arsons last December: on December 21st at a barn along Route 954 in Creekside and on December 29th at a storage building at Whitaker and Rudolph Roads in West Mahoning Township.
The new charges were filed yesterday. Leone was still in the Indiana County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond. Dalessio was free after posting $250,000 bond, but was recommitted to the Indiana County Jail yesterday with additional new bond amounts of $50,000 for each of the two new cases. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for October 15th.
In total, Leone and Dalessio are charged with 32 arson-related offenses for the three fires.
Meanwhile, Dylan Dalessio’s 22-year-old brother, Devin, is facing charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment- all misdemeanors – after 31-year-old Chad Fetterhoff reported last week that Dalessio was threatening his life. Dalessio was taken into custody last Thursday and arraigned before District Judge Christopher Welch, who set him free on $10,000 bond and ordered a preliminary hearing for October 14th. That hearing has since been rescheduled for November 4th.
