Jeannette Mae (Miller) Goodlin, 79, of Indiana, PA, and formerly of Lovejoy, PA, died Sunday, September 29, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.
The daughter of Frank and Mary (Nelson) Miller, she was born on July 26, 1940 in Spangler, PA.
She married Larry R. “Doug” Goodlin on March 17, 1960 and they have shared 59 years of marriage together.
Jeannette was a graduate of Harmony High School.
She loved the Lord. She was very talented at painting and drawing; doing crafts and was an excellent cook. Jeannette’s homemade buns, pies and stuffing were the best. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Jeannette is survived by her husband, Larry “Doug” Goodlin of Indiana, PA, her four children: Kevin Goodlin and wife Ronda of Indiana, PA; Vaughn Goodlin and wife Kim of Commodore, PA; Rod Goodlin and wife Patty of Cherry Tree, PA; Sonya Goodlin and fiancé Sean Mack of Indiana, PA; her 8 grandchildren: Eric Goodlin and fiancé, Aneliese Veazey; Alysha Miller and husband Jason; Lindsey Goodlin; Seth Goodlin; Ciarra Goodlin; Allison Goodlin; Ashley Goodlin; Gavin Mottin, and four great-grandchildren: Riayn; Mia and Reese Miller and Trey Goodlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers: Robert and Glenn Miller
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 6-9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 12:00 noon until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA with Pastor John Sykes officiating. Interment will follow at the Citizens Cemetery in Cherry Tree, PA.
