PSP-INDIANA
State police say no one was injured in a crash that happened yesterday in Black Lick Township. Troopers say that 46-year-old Jeremiah Simpson of Murraysville was driving south on Route 217 while 27-year-old Kyle Fabin of Indiana was pulling out of a driveway. Fabin was turning left to head North on Route 217 when his truck was hit by Simpson’s car. The two vehicles were disabled and required towing.
The driver was not injured in a crash on Monday in Pine Township. State police say this was on Route 553 in Pine Township just east of Grisemore Road. Police say 31-year-old Douglas McBreen of Johnstown lost control on a curve and went off of 553, hitting a utility pole and a tree before the vehicle rolled onto its roof. Police say speed was a factor in the crash.
A Pittsburgh man was charged with DUI for an incident on August 25th in White Township which is being reported now by state police. Troopers say that 20-year-old John MacPherson was in a Jeep found by police stuck off the 422 eastbound on ramp near South Sixth Street. MacPherson was found to be intoxicated due to either drugs or alcohol. MacPherson was arrested on DUI crimes.
