Madaline M. Johnston, 102, of Creekside, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at Beacon Ridge.
A daughter of the late Oran and Catherine Van Horn Brewer, she was born in Creekside on Jan. 9, 1917.

Gram also enjoyed a good dish of ice cream. Madaline is the last surviving member of her birth family.
She was blessed with four children, three of whom she is survived by: Nancy Hess and husband Ed, of Creekside; Peg Eckenrod and husband Sam, of Creekside; Dave Johnston and wife Rosemary, of Creekside; a son-in-law, Earle Good, of Punxsutawney; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Beryl M. Johnston; a daughter, Kay Good; and three brothers.
There is no visitation. Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Robinson-Lytle, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to thank the caregivers Gram had at home and at Beacon Ridge. Thank you for all of your kindness.
