The undefeated IUP Crimson Hawks football team has moved up to 21st in the latest AFCA coaches poll. The team was ranked 24th last week.
The Crimson Hawks take their 3-0 record to Erie to play Mercyhurst, 2-1, Saturday at 1 o’clock.
Also, senior place kicker Dillon Sarka has been named the PSAC West Special Teams Player of the Week, after going 11 for 11 in extra points in Saturday’s romp of Lock Haven. The 11 extra points are a new IUP record.
