State police have issued reports on two accidents, one of which occurred yesterday morning on Arcadia Road in Montgomery Township. No one was injured when a car driven by 20-year-old Steven Pearce of Cherry Tree traveled off the road and struck a large rock. Police say Pearce told them he swerved to miss a deer.
One of the drivers was injured Thursday afternoon in a collision on Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township. Police say 75-year-old Helen Miller of Armagh merged from the Route 403 stop sign and collided with a tractor trailer operated by 33-year-old Kevin Hollis of Coalport. Miller was taken to an unnamed hospital by Citizens Ambulance Service.
