Three defendants are scheduled for sentencing today in Indiana County Court, including one who will be sentenced in six separate cases.
35-year-old Nicole Annette Hill of Indiana pleaded guilty to theft, three counts of retail theft, and two counts of conspiracy to retail theft. One of the offenses occurred in July of last year, and the others were cases from February and March of this year.
34-year-old Patrick Charles Burke of Johnstown will be sentenced today for four summary traffic offenses and a summary charge of disorderly conduct, with non-prosecution for making repairs or selling an offensive weapon.
20-year-old Jonathan Nieves of Indiana will be sentenced for harassment, with non-prosecution for aggravated and simple assault.
There is also a Plea Court proceeding for 34-year-old SCI Pine Grove inmate Christopher Adams Sr., who is facing charges of possession with intent to deliver, four methamphetamine offenses – including operating a meth lab – possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia. Adams was convicted of meth-related charges in 2014. He was one of eleven suspects arrested last spring in Indiana County in the state police “Operation One-Pot” roundup. He also has two active cases in Westmoreland County, for forgery and for criminal trespass. Adams is from New Florence, in Westmoreland County.
