Last night, the White Township Supervisors approved a consulting agreement with Millstone Land Management LLC to manage township-owned properties.
The agreement will focus on the land itself, and Township Manager Milt Lady talked about some of the duties that will be a part of Millstone’s work.
Also, the White Township Supervisors approved advertising an ordinance that would extend the Keystone Opportunity Zone at Windy Ridge park for another ten years. This extension would be for all the unoccupied property at Windy Ridge, and excludes both the Creps United Publication property and the new URBN facility. The current KOZ agreement expires at the end of this year.
Byron Stauffer with the county Office of Planning and Development talked about how important it is for the extension to go through.
Finally, Township Assistant Manager Chris Anderson is reminding township residents to take the comprehensive plan survey. A link to that can be found on the township’s website, www.whitetownship.org.
