Johnny Cueto returned to the mound for the Giants after being out since last year with Tommy John surgery and pitched five shutout innings, as the Giants nipped the Pirates, 5-4, last night.
Josh Bell hit his 37th home run. Mitch Keller took the loss.

In other news, Pirates pitcher Kyle Crick’s season is over after requiring surgery on his index finger after an altercation with Felipe Vasquez prior to Monday’s game. Both pitchers have been fined.
