MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP
State Police report two assaults investigations, one of which involved a 14-year-old Cherry Tree girl on Friday afternoon at a home along Cherry Tree Road in Montgomery Township.
Police say the girl and a 45-year-old woman were arguing over money when the girl hit the woman in the face, attempted to strangle her, and threatened to stab her with a knife. The girl was taken into custody.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
The other assault probe was also a domestic incident, at a home along Millay Circle in White Township in the midnight hour on Saturday. Police say 24-year-old Tyler Citeroni of Indiana was arguing with 21-year-old Nat Feracioly-Salsgiver when she kicked Citeroni in the ribs and he slapped her in the face three times, causing redness and swelling. Citeroni was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment. Feracioly-Salsgiver was subsequently charged with harassment.
GREEN TOWNSHIP
State Police report the theft of sixty to eighty Oxycodone pills and thirty Flexeril pills from a home along Juniper Road in Green Township. The theft was discovered last Thursday night by the 48-year-old victim. Oxycodone is a dangerous opioid and Flexeril is a muscle relaxant that is also used to treat opioid withdrawal. If taken together, they can be fatal.
BURRELL TOWNSHIP
State Police also report that a dump truck traveling with a raised bed snagged some power lines along Old William Penn Highway in Burrell Township on Friday morning, ripping the lines off a utility pole. No injuries were reported. The truck driver was Anthony Dematteis of Portage.
