IUP has been honored by another publication for the services that they provide to the community.
The university was honored by Washington Monthly for their 2019 College Guide and Rankings, and selected for their list of top National Universities. To be selected for the list, the editors list the universities based on what the schools do for the community in the areas of social mobility, research and providing opportunities for public service, and must have high scores across all measures. The data for the ranking comes from the Integrated Post-secondary Education Data System.
IUP has been ranked by several national publications for excellence in several different areas, including being named one of “America’s Top Colleges” for 2019 by Forbes, the “10 most affordable accredited online colleges” list from EduRef.net, and by several other publications for their programs helping veterans and those serving in the armed forces.
