CURVE SHUTS OUT AKRON AGAIN, RYAN ON CUSP OF MILESTONE

Pedro Vasquez and two relief pitchers posted a second straight shutout for the Altoona Curve last night in a 3-0 win over Akron.

The win was Michael Ryan’s 499th as manager of the Curve. He’ll go for No. 500 tonight in a 6 o’clock game verses Akron.
