INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana borough police have charged a Blacklick man in connection with an altercation on Monday morning. Police say at 2:05 AM, police were called out to an establishment in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street and they found that Percy Spearman had punched a man inside the bar. Spearman was found to be acting disorderly outside the establishment. He was arrested and later released to a sober adult. Spearman now faces charges of simple assault, tampering with evidence, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Indiana Borough police report of two incidents of public drunkenness within a day of each other. On August 22nd, at 12:45 AM, police found 23-year-old Bradley Penrose of Homer City in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street, under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself or call for a ride home. He was placed under arrest for public drunkenness and remained in Indiana County Jail until he sobered up.
Police also report that the following night, at 1:14 AM on August 23rd, they found Nicklas Marks in a highly intoxicated state at the Sheetz in the 400 block of Philadelphia Street. He was charged with public drunkenness and is now in Indiana County Jail.
